Elven Long Bow

My favorite weapon design to date.

This design incorporates a Native American Penobscot compound bow design
overlaid onto a traditional double recurve bow shape.

The Penobscot are credited by many as having been the very first
people to create a compound bow.
<br>
<br>
I was also totally inspired by an old movie about The Odyssey in the scene
where Ulysses strings his own bow while in disguise, drops his cloak,
and starts unleashing massive amounts of arrows on all of his enemies.
I wanted this bow to be appropriate for a hero as epic as Ulysses while
still reflecting the sensibilities of a hunter.
