An unpublished digital painting done almost entirely in painter, minus the pencils and compositing of layers in Photoshop.

The original design for the Tiger man and Dark Elf female were done by Blurr studios. I refined and slightly altered the design of the Dark Elf’s armor to improve the consistency of the armors design.

The picture is of a group of adventurers about to enter the mouth of a cave.

In the end this was a nice study and learning experience.

If I had the time to do it over, I would adjust the perspective on the water to better match the party, and would use a different face for the human ranger. The blue skin of the dark elf was really challenging since it tends to make her look a little lifeless in dim lighting.
